Lean Quick Turn service Threading added

The Lean Quick Turn service started with aluminum router cutting, steel laser cutting, CNC bending, and powder coating. The options for aluminum and steel materials have continued to increase and we have one of the largest sections in North America because we’ve leveraged all different customer’s materials and made them available to you: the R&D engineer, the creator, and the hobbyist. Our goal is to advance North American manufacturing by helping people with products produce their parts better and quicker.

We now have available hole threading, also known as tapping. We’ve got a good selection of Imperial threads available for your internally threaded holes like these on Bolt Supply’s chart.

One thing to keep in mind is what the hole size needs to be off the laser cutting machine to achieve the proper threads for strength and fitment of bolts. There is a good chart here.

To walk through the process (pics below) just upload a part (or create a quick part), click on “Add Secondary Processes”, select “Tapping”, pick your size of threads, then make sure to fill out the quantity of holes you want threaded with that size.
