Everything we do at Lean Machine starts as a CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) model on the computer. An example of this on a large scale is our Motoman/Fronius Robotic Welding Cell, which we decided to modify to add flexibility of jig placement and mobility to the entire cell.

The solution was to design a movable base to mount the robot, controls, welding wire barrel, gas supply, and any related jigs/components.

Now completed, we are able to pick up and move the cell to anywhere in the shop, and all that is required is a power connection at the new location!
