CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES: 


CNC PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

Lean Machine is searching for a skilled press brake operator to setup and operate press brakes during our evening shift. You will work Monday – Thursday, 10-hour days from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am. You are highly focused and thrive in a busy fabricating environment. The ability to read instructions represented in drawings, schematics, etc. and follow them with precision is extremely important. You will make sure machines are properly set up and working well in producing quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Interprets blueprints and engineering drawings correctly
  • Sets up and operates machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications, accurately, and in a timely fashion
  • Able to work with close tolerance specifications bending and forming parts to specification
  • Ability to use various pneumatic and electrical power hand tools
  • Assists in performance of trouble shooting on machine when required

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and follow written directions and understand shop drawings including all relevant information such as dimensions of the part, bend angle, radius, blank size, and tolerances
  • Knowledge of measuring tools such as Vernier caliper, tape measure, ruler, square, angle gauges
  • Able to use tools and machines with an attention to detail and work within precise limits and/or standards of accuracy
  • Good understanding of math and quality control principles
  • Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to handle changing demands
  • Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
  • Ability to work according to production schedules and deadlines
  • Previous brake experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

ROBOTIC WELDING OPERATOR

We are currently searching for a Robotic Welding Operator. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and preparing the robotic welder to meet our project specifications in the production of welded assemblies. You will be required to fabricate metallic parts or assemblies, applying basic knowledge of welding theory and procedures and utilizing your strong math skills. Individuals with CAD/CAM backgrounds would be prime candidates due to the computerized nature of this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Use robotic welding machine to weld a variety of customer parts in various sizes, shapes, and metal thicknesses
  • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and materials on welding machines or worktable as required
  • Adjust robot postures and paths to correct and maintain weld quality
  • Operates and observes robot to detect malfunctions or non-conforming conditions
  • Produce components and/or assemblies as per specified requirements
  • Regulates machine factors such as Wire type, gas flow, fixture locations.
  • Maintain quality objectives and verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications
  • Read documents, blueprints, computer screens and machine dials
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed

Qualifications:

  • Able to use tools and machines with an attention to detail
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems and mathematics
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints and other drawings
  • Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
  • Ability to work according to production schedules and deadlines
  • Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to handle changing demands
  • Experienced utilizing computer based software
  • Experience working with robots and/or automated systems is preferred
  • Metal Fabrication experience would be an asset
